Pastor Marc McAllister was born in Gonaives, Haiti to parents Marcus and Charitee. Pastor McAllister is a graduate of Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, TX, with dual degrees: a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina - Pembroke with an anticipated graduation date of December 2025.
Pastor McAllister has been serving as the Resident Pastor of Arlington Southern Worship Center since September 2024 until present. He has completed two years of pastoral internship at Abney Chapel SDA Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and at Crowley SDA Church in Crowley, Texas, as part of the Southwestern Adventist University internship program. Pastor McAllister has also served as a Volunteer Lay Pastor in the Texas Conference.
Prior to his calling to ministry, Pastor McAllister served for 12 years in the United States Army as a Combat Medic. He was a paratrooper and part of the prestigious 82nd Airborne Division. While in the Army, Pastor McAllister served in many leadership roles including managing medical clinics and multiple healthcare departments at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Liberty, North Carolina formerly known as Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Pastor McAllister has a passion for preaching the word of God and teaching. His favorite verse is from the book of Galatians, and it says: "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me" (Galatians 2:20, NKJV).
Pastor McAllister is happily married to his wife of fourteen years, Thamard, and they are proud parents of four children: Aeden (13), Aalisha (11), Brayden (7), and Adryanna (5).
